Perfectly Unperfect Minds®

Terms of Service

The rules for using our website, sending us a request, or making a donation.

Effective October 13, 2026

1. Accepting these terms

This website is run by Sylinda M. Wilson on behalf of Perfectly Unperfect Minds®. By browsing the site, submitting one of our forms, or making a donation, you agree to these Terms of Service and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please stop using the site.

If you are under 18, please read these terms with a parent or guardian and only use the site with their permission.

2. What we are — and what we are not

Perfectly Unperfect Minds® provides youth mental health education, advocacy, workshops, and community support. We are not a medical provider, therapist, counseling service, or crisis line, and nothing on this site is medical or mental health advice.

If you or someone you know is in crisis or in immediate danger, call or text 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline), text "GA" to 741-741 (Crisis Text Line), or call 911. You can find more support lines on our Resources page.

3. Using our site responsibly

Please use the site for its intended purpose. You agree not to submit false or misleading information, impersonate another person or organization, send harassing, threatening, or hateful content through our forms, attempt to access areas of the site you are not authorized to use, or use the site to market unrelated products or services.

4. Request forms

Our forms — Safe Space Requests, Fund Requests, Workshop Requests, Volunteer sign-up, and Sponsorship interest — help us understand what you need so we can respond. Submitting a form is a request, not an agreement, and does not guarantee that we can say yes.

  • Information you give us must be accurate. If you are requesting support on behalf of a young person, you should have permission from that person's parent or guardian.
  • We review every request. Some requests — like funding for materials — may be approved, approved with changes, or declined. Our team's decision is final.
  • You can withdraw a request. Email us any time and we will remove it from our records.

5. Referring a youth

The "Refer a Youth" form is for parents, guardians, caregivers, teachers, counselors, and other adults. Only refer a young person you know and have permission to contact. Please do not include medical records, diagnoses, or information you are not authorized to share.

6. Donations and payments

Donations are processed securely by Stripe. We never see or store your card number. Donations are generally non-refundable because they are spent on program materials and community events, but if something went wrong — a duplicate gift, an accidental amount — email us and we will make it right.

Perfectly Unperfect Minds® is not currently a registered 501(c)(3) organization, so donations are not tax-deductible at this time. We will update this page if that changes.

7. Our name, logo, and materials

"Perfectly Unperfect Minds®" and our logo are trademarks of Sylinda M. Wilson. You are welcome to share our name, logo, and free materials to support youth mental health for non-commercial purposes, with credit. Please do not use our name or logo in a way that suggests we endorse your organization or product, sell our materials, or change our logo.

8. Other services

Some parts of the site connect to services we don't control — Stripe for payments, Google Forms for youth referrals, and our social media pages. Once you are on their pages, their own terms and privacy policies apply.

9. Disclaimers and limits on our responsibility

The site is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We work to keep it accurate and available but don't promise it will be error-free or uninterrupted. To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not responsible for damages arising from your use of the site or reliance on its content. Nothing here limits liability that cannot legally be limited.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as our programs grow. The "Effective" date at the top shows when this version was last revised, and continued use of the site means you accept the current version.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.
